About the Author:

Morris (Boots) Atkins was born on a farm in eastern North Carolina where he was raised by his grandparents in Wilmington and later lived in Wrightsville Beach. He spent fifteen years working for the U.S. government and fifteen years working in the desalination business, making fresh water out of sea water. Mr. Atkins had traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the Caribbean Islands, Central and South America. He has lived in North Carolina, New Orleans, the Florida Keys, Costa Rica and now resides in the Florida Keys with his wife, Tina. Boots Atkins spends his time fishing, traveling, hunting, gardening, cooking and writing.
