This series is in the process of being rewritten from the ground up. Interested readers should check out my novel, THE WILL OF HEAVEN. That book acts as a prequel to the Shadow Kingdom storyline. It also changes the backstory quite a bit, so nothing in this story should be considered canon. This novel is actually two separate stories that got combined into one. The first is obviously a story about a girl named Sarah who is slowly being drawn into a battle between dark forces. The second was about a detective attempting to solve a series of murders involving mind-controlled slaves. The result is admittedly a bit clunky, hence the rewrite.
The detective story was rewritten to feature Dirk Garrick, the hero of VERTIGO RISING. That novel, entitled DED GIRLS, is available now. The rewritten version of SHADOW KINGDOM I has been subtitled THE SIN OF RESURRECTION. All future SK books will proceed from that version.
