About the Author:
Bill was born in Iowa but lived most of his life in Minnesota. He was in the floor covering business in the Twin Cities when he took the test to become a game warden at age 43. He took a huge cut in pay to become a warden and was stationed at Waskish, Crosby-Ironton, Orr, and Baudette. He wrote stories after he retired but asked his children to wait until after he died to publish the book.
