About the Author:

Denise Morris was born in Colorado and has lived in Ohio since she was eight years old. She is a graduate of Ohio StateUniversity. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have five awesome children together. Besides writing and illustrating children's books, she enjoys acting, dancing, designing children's clothes, learning foreign languages, and traveling. Her favorite thing to do is to spend time with her family. And yes, it is true-she loves warm chocolate chip cookies. Denise has had the opportunity to work in a variety of areas. She was a co-host for a LIVE television show. She has worked in youth ministry in both hired and volunteer positions for the past twenty years. She has directed drama in highschool and various youth groups. She has also worked in education during the past eleven years in private and public settings. She states, "Themost important job of all is being a mother of five extraordinary children. This keeps me very busy and humbled." She continues, "Creating the Frankie series has been a blast.
