About the Author:

Peter Bollington rode nine ships as part of civilian support to US Navy ships in the 1980’s, leading to the creation of this novel. He deployed from Coronado Island and 39th Street, San Diego and traveled to Alaska, Japan, Okinawa, Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, China, and Thailand, spending many years abroad in a support role to Navy and Marine troops aboard ships, plus living in South Korea and Malaysia. Salvos has emerged from travels in the exotic lands of the far east.
