I don't claim to be any kind of expert in any field, but my experiences with honest people and "cowboying" have led me to believe that I know enough, at this stage of my life, to put down a few true episodes of my life. Nothing has been left out or added to these stories. They have been told as they occurred. Modern-day folks can get a glimpse of what life was like back when life was good.

About the Author:
Charles H. Ham is a life-long resident of a small East Texas community. He started working on the family ranch at a young age and continued to work as a cowman all of his life. He has raised a family and enjoyed living the sometimes hard but slow life, breaking horses and tending cows. Now at 86 years old, it seems the best thing to do is write down his reminiscences.
