John's in his mid-seventies, and he and his wife retired several years ago and moved from Houston, Texas to a rural town in Texas where it's quiet. There, he and his wife live in a small house with their calico cat, Peanut. John's passions are fishing and writing, which he does often. John's written six other novels: "The Secret of Big Pine Key," mystery and intrigue; "From the Realm Beyond," co-authored with his son, Ted. Very, very scary (not to be read at night, and particularly when not alone, with an extremely surprise ending); "Fish Heads 'Aargh' Tails Tales." A collection of short stories about fishing and friendship; "The Quest for Moby Piscavores," an anthology of short fishing stories, and a primer on becoming an angler.
