About the Author:
Nace en Totana (Murcia) en 1945, en plena posguerra. Es autor de novelas como "Tobías Cerón", "Venta Paraíso", "La alargada sombra del rey de bastos", "Cerro Verde", "En el nombre de Roma", "El monje de Gorma", "Mi señor ibn Mardánish" y "¡Getsemaní, Getsemaní!", así como numerosos poemarios, relatos cortos y de humor. Si bien su entrada al mundo literario la hizo siendo bastante adulto, ha logrado algo tan difícil como conseguir una poesía de características absolutamente personales, de una definición original y perfecta. Sus poemas y escritos son densos y plenos de sensibilidad que llegan directamente al corazón del lector. Su lenguaje es puro y directo, culto y cortante a veces hasta ser desgarrador.
