FOREWORD

When I met Rich on January 16, 2013 he really touched my heart and I could see the love of our Lord beaming from his face! We met on ChristianMingle.com and he has changed my life so much for the better. When he gave me his book called "What is wrong with my Christianity" I felt honored that he valued my opinion. Needless to say, I got to know such a godly man by his insightful book and I got to know a man, his life, and his love for God. By all means his life has been a traumatic journey, but he eventually became a husband and father while learning to draw more obedient to Jesus and God. I feel strongly that all along God was inspiring him to write while walking in Him and He did, and our Lord has been right at his side loving this good man. This book is an amazing passage of life and a life of wisdom and his love for the Word of God. Richard's love for our Lord and His Word truly inspired me and it will be to anyone who walks and breathes. I got to know Rich personally through his book and his knowledge of the Scriptures and his desire to live by it. When you read his book it will leave you touched, crying and inspired to having the want and the desire to totally embrace God and His Word. Pure and simple this book is a man's love for God! A man's journey to love God with all of his heart, soul, mind and strength and it will bring a nice cool drink to anyone who thirsts for His Word.

I went on to marry Rich on July 11, 2013 and I love him with all of my heart. He is my best friend and teacher. The truth of what is wrong with my Christianity shows, that inevitably, few people in this world have the desire to be perfect in our heart. The Word that asks us to be perfect, because the Father is perfect and again Peter said to be holy as God is holy. The desire in itself is the driving force to become a better man. If we obtain genuine faith through God and we learn to love and forgive each other, we will be able to open our hearts and our ears to the Lord as Rich has done. My world is a better place with this wonderful man and his amazing book!
