Grade 8 Up?This is not a book to read from cover to cover; the topic is too difficult and the writing style is too dry. The first two chapters are the least interesting and most technical. Some of the later chapters discuss topics with more relevance to the general population, such as memory improvement, retrieval, error, and loss. The text is divided into chapters that are then subdivided with boldface headings, making easy access to specific facts for report writers. Black-and-white photographs and diagrams supplement the text. The addenda include a two-page list of "Works Consulted," two pages of suggestions for further reading, a three-page glossary, and a very detailed index.
