About the Author:

Louis C. Gapenski, Ph.D. is a professor in both health services administration and finance at the University of Florida. He is the author or coauthor of more than 50 textbooks and journal articles on corporate and healthcare finance. Dr. Gapenski has acted as academic advisor, chaired sessions, and presented papers at numerous national meetings, and has been a reviewer for eleven academic and professional journals. In addition to teaching at the University of Florida, Dr. Gapenski has been a frequent visiting faculty member at institutions both in the U. S. and abroad.
