From the Author:
Easterland is written for children, therefore, it is fitting the first word begin with the word "Children". ("Children all over the world wonder about the Easter bunny, they wonder where he comes from, and to where he returns, what they don't know, is how it all began long ago.")

Easterland is an Easter story designed to let children wonder at a magical time of year where the Easter bunny comes from, letting the child actually guess for themselves at the end of the story who the bunny is - - EASTER BUNNY! Instead of dictating the color to the child the story book is beautifully rendered in pen and ink - - black and white illustrations which give the work an old-world quality, and allows the child to imagine for himself, just like the bunny, the colors of his/her imagination for the scenes. Del Rosso's art work has a quality that completely complements the story of Easterland.

Children learn through the growth of the bunny and the friends he makes, that with love and sharing all things grow and grow, and that's the biggest treasure of all.
