Synopsis
FROM MIMIR'S HEAD comprises two reciprocal passes through the same terrain - a sequence of poems mostly exploring ontological matters in a variety of verse inventions, and a series of notes in a prose equally exploratory and inventive. About the Author
Stein is author of thirteen books including a translation of The Odyssey; a vision of the Eleusinian Mysteries, Persephone Unveiled; a study of poet Charles Olson, The Secret of the Black Chrysanthemum; and a study of Gary Hill, The Art of Limina.
