Other cars were built later with a number of cars from the 1940s and 1950s with their photographs taken primarily in the 1970s. This volume has pictures taken by railroad enthusiasts, so the equipment is 'as is' in service. Therefore the equipment has road dirt and markings unlike Volume 1.
