About the Author

Michael Moorcock was born in 1939, and published his first novel in 1961. As editor of the magazine New Worlds he has been a hugely influential figure in science fiction. He has published more than eighty books, including The Conditions of Muzak, which one the Guardian Fiction Prize. He lives in Texas.
