About the Author:
Jose Sanchez-Boudy was born in Cuba where he received a Law degree from the University of Havana, a career he practiced there for many years. In exile, he taught Spanish at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he retired Professor Emeritus. He has published a vast collection of works (more than 100 books) on history, fiction, poetry, theatre and literary criticism. He is best known for his vast knowledge of the Cuban language and the publications of DICCIONARIO MAYOR DE CUBANISMOS, DICCIONARIO DE REFRANES POPULARES CUBANOS and DICCIONARIO DE PIROPOS CUBANOS.
