About the Authors

Oliver Chin has been called a “comics expert” by the San Jose Mercury News. He written many children's picture books, including the series Tales from the Chinese Zodiac, The Asian Hall of Fame (The Discovery of Ramen, Fireworks & Gunpowder, and Anime & Manga), and Julie Black Belt. His family lives in San Francisco, CA.

Justin Roth illustrated the children’s books Baltazar and the Flying Pirates, The Year of the Tiger, and The Year of the Rabbit. He has animated TV series for Nickelodeon, Disney, and 4Kids Entertainment, and commercials for the advertising agency Saatchi and Saatchi. He is a Creative Director at Grey Group and lives in New York, NY.
