About the Author
Dan Jurgens is a writer and artist most famous for creating Booster Gold as well as for being one of the writer/artists behind "The Death of Superman." He has written and/or illustrated titles such as JUSTICE LEAGUE AMERICA, Captain America, The Sensational Spider-Man, Thor, TEEN TITANS, AQUAMAN, DC's Tangent imprint, and the DC crossover known as ZERO HOUR.
Karl Kesel is one of the most successful artists to come out of DC's New Talent program, and counts Jack Kirby as a major influence on his work--while having a fondness for Kirby's quirky character creations. Kesel built a solid reputation as a respected inker on such titles as SUPERMAN and SUICIDE SQUAD, in addition to his efforts as a writer on HARLEY QUINN, ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN and SUPERBOY, and -- at Marvel -- Captain America, Daredevil, and the Fantastic Four.
Jerry Ordway has been writing, drawing, and painting comic books professionally since 1980 - specifically on such titles as ALL-STAR SQUADRON, CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS, SUPERMAN, POWER OF SHAZAM, WildStar, Fantastic Four, The Avengers, Tom Strong, WONDER WOMAN, The Messenger, and Proton.
Louise Simonson is one of the best-known female writers working in the comic-book industry. She has risen to the top of the male-dominated business and has garnered acclaim for her work for Marvel and DC Comics, including SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL, X-Factor, Power Pack, STEEL, and New Mutants.
Roger Stern has writing credits at Marvel Comics which include celebrated runs on The Amazing Spider-Man, Captain America, The Avengers, and Doctor Strange. In 1987, Stern began writing for DC, where he quickly became an integral part of the Superman team. His other DC credits include POWER OF THE ATOM and STARMAN, and he has also written the prose novels The Death and Life of Superman, Smallville: Strange Visitors and Superman: The Never-Ending Battle.
