The author Barry McArthur has written three novels, however ‘For Life is Walking Shadow' is the first to be submitted for publication. I would hope the story has appeal to a wide section of the population. Perhaps younger readers may find the fast moving exploits of the protagonists, the personal relationships, together with their familiar and exotic experiences, to be refreshingly engaging. As a comparison to previously published works and authors, it is difficult to say. Without compromising the originality of the book some might find within the pages shades of Dan Brown's ‘da Vinci Code', or perhaps in parts ‘Fifty Shades of Gray'. Barry McArthur is a retired primary school teacher, and discovered a talent as a storyteller whilst engaged in that profession. He adds a collection of short stories to the novels he has written. Barry lives in Wangaratta NE Victoria, with his wife Mary, and has a son Paul, also a teacher as is his wife Melanie. They have two beautiful children Nina and Luis.
