PreS-K--A poorly executed self-help alphabet book for parents to share with children. Each page has a full-color, static illustration of a child or children engaged in different activities under headings such as "Feeling Accepted," "Feeling Kindhearted," "Feeling eXhausted," and "Feeling Yucky." The text explains what is happening in the illustration and what emotions are involved, followed by questions such as ""What other ways could Nina get attention?" "Is it OK for you to feel OK?," and some that are completely unrelated to the text, e.g., "Is there a spider in this picture?" "What has a round shape in the picture?" Additionally, the book does not discuss sharing or understanding your feelings.
