Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. 1st Edition. 1995 FIRST EDITION. Original glossy paperback (no hardcover ever issued) with color photo on front. The book is in excellent condition having been purchased directly from the publisher and held in climate controlled storage for years. The book has clean covers, no tears, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, solid binding, no foxing. Minor shelf rubbing due to moving it around, but it was never read or used for display or browsing. The book measures 28cm tall x 22cm and has 115 pages, 69 b/w photos (48 full page), route diagrams. A gazetteer of 55 superior rock climbs across contiguous USA with route diagram for each climb. Climbs vary in length from quite short to El Capitan, and vary in difficulty from 5.4 to 5.13 (average of listed climbs is about 5.9). Emphasis was on choosing quality climbs, classics, that represent what an area has to offer. History of route & area, with description of route quality given for each route.
