About the Author:

Muriel Marshall has lived in and researched the central portion of Western Colorado for several decades. Author of Uncompahgre, A Historic Guide to the Uncompahgre Plateau, she also wrote numerous articles and books, including Where Rivers Meet, a history of the Delta, Colorado area, and Red Hole in Time, the story of Escalante Canyon. She also finds time to write fiction and poetry, enjoys photography and is an accomplished artist. Born in New Mexico, she has lived in Kansas, California, Arizona and Utah.
