About the Author:

Angela Provitera McGlynn is a Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, New Jersey, where she taught more than 13,000 students over a career spanning 35 years. She is the author of "Successful Beginnings for College Teaching: Engaging Your Students from the First Day" as well as three other books on college teaching. She has also written numerous journal articles, presented workshops across the U.S., and appeared on radio and national televison programs.
