Synopsis

The 21 appendices feature the Russian alphabet, Russian grammar,conjugated verbs, time zones of cities, place nouns with case endings, metric measurements, adult heights and weights, customs, holidays, laws, marriage procedures, mail, introduction services, and more.

About the Author
Marina Frolova was born in Vishniy Volochok, Russia, taught mathematics in St. Petersburg for many years, and became a translator shortly after coming to the USA in 1996. Robert Powers, born in Portland, Oregon, served 16 of 23 years in the Army as a Russian linguist, obtained a BA in Slavic Languages from UW in 1978, and has taught and translated Russian since that time.
