The development experience of Kerala is somewhat of a jigsaw puzzle for social science researchers all over the world. Kerala, hence, continues to be a much-researched state of India. The level of agricultural development of different districts of Kerala was estimated with the help of composite index of development based on several variables combined in an optimum manner.
