About the Author:
Kochi Okada studied at Moscow, Cambridge and London universities. She worked in the Kyrgyz Academy of Science and conducted research in Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. She has published articles on Central Asian arts. Now part of the London jewellery world, she has introduced her designs inspired by her Central Asian cultural heritage.
