Some recent accolades include: 2001 Wal-Mart Supplier of the Year (perishables division), 2002 Whataburger's Supplier of the Year, 2003 Wendy's Quality Supplier of the Year, 2004 Provisioner Magazine "Cool Dozen Award," and one of the 2004 "Most Admired Companies in America" by Fortune Magazine. Pilgrim and his wife, Patty, have been married forty-eight years and have two sons, a daughter, and six grandchildren.
