Two foolscap documents in self-wraps, 8; 25pp. Very good with some foxing and small institutional stamps to fronts. These reports were submitted to the Secretary of the War Office, at that time David Lloyd George, on 3 Aug and 17 Nov 1916, by a Committee chaired by Justice Clement Bailhache. The Committee was appointed to look into Government air policies in the wake of serious losses being sustained by the RFC during WW1. In particular, serious criticisms made by Pemberton Billing of "criminal negligence" and "official folly of those in high places" with claims against the Royal Aircraft Factory and RFC. Gathering information over several weeks looking at a series of specific cases, the Committee laid the blame with the military supply system rather than with air chiefs, calling for a joint Equipment Department, and closer cooperation with the Royal Naval Air Service.

DELIVERY DEADLINES: If you have a hard deadline for receipt that is before the processing time stated on Abe, eg, if you need it to arrive urgently before you travel or before a particular event, please contact me at the time of order to advise, so options can be discussed and steps taken to ensure it gets there in time.
RETURNS: Please return any items for refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date, and contact me first with the reason for the return to establish whether postal costs will be included in the refund. If the item is not as described, I will cover the original and return post.
