Gray card covers with title printed in black and blue onto upper cover, 8vo (8-1/2 inches tall), pp. 31, index [32]. Light soil and fading to cover with sticker ghost at heel of spine, text toned. Inscribed and signed by author on ffep "Ken . , / from shipmate / Goodridge MacDonald / London, May 3, 1959." With a few manuscript corrections in the same ink noted. The Roberts family held a preeminent position in Canadian letters for most of the 19th century and Goodridge MacDonald also worked as an editor of The Montreal Herald.
