No pagination, 10 1/2" x 8 1/2", 1/4 cloth with color illustrated boards, dust jacket slightly soiled with light dampstain near the foredge, some discoloration of endpapers near the inner hinge, very good. 1st edition. Pencil inscription by the author with sketch of an Irish Wolfhound. Many wonderful illustrations by Paul Brown, black and white drawings and occasional brightly colored pages.The Perkins family and circus life with dogs, horses, donkeys, etc.
