Slim 8vo, approximately 215 x 125 mm, 8½ x 5 inches, engraved portrait frontispiece of Lunardi, 2 folding engraved plates, pages: (4), 1-66 plus 1 page of explanation of the plates, adverts on verso, contemporary half calf, gilt lettered label to spine, gilt decoration to spine, marbled boards. Binding slightly rubbed, boards slightly faded at top edges, offset to plates and first page, neat old ink name at top of title page, his bookplate on first pastedown, another of Lord Stanely of Alderley on first free endpaper and a blind stamp, small neat repair to 1 top margin, not near text, endpapers slightly spotted, otherwise a very good copy.
