Book is brimming with water color illustrations and personal photos of Michael and family; endpapers are 1945 newspaper clippings announcing the end of the war. Wonderful book. Autobiography of Michael Foreman: Michael Foreman was born and grew up in Pakefield, near Lowestoft, Suffolk, where his mother kept the village shop.His father died a month before he was born. At the age of three, the family home was hit by an enemy bomb, but he survived along with his mother and two older brothers.
