About the Author
Peter Chan has designed and storyboarded numerous films, including LEMONY SNICKET'S A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS, HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE, and ANTZ. About MOONGIRL, he says, ""Collaborating with Henry Selick was a great opportunity. Creating the visuals for the film and book was thoroughly enjoyable because this story has such heart and imagination."" Peter Chan lives on San Juan Island in Washington State.
Courtney Booker's paintings have been exhibited in galleries around the U.S. She also works in the animated film industry, most recently on the feature films FINDING NEMO and THE INCREDIBLES. This is her first book. She lives in Portland, Oregon.
