Original Production by The Theatre Guild. Directed by Robert Milton. Original cast included Frank Reicher, Jane Wheatley, Charles Ellis, and Florence Eldridge. Original publisher's binding in dark blue with slightly faded gilt lettering. Arthur Richman (1886 - 1944)was a Playwright and Hollywood screenwriter. Born in New York City to William and Janice (or Jennie) Reichman. His father, a native of F rth, Bavaria, became a successful merchant after coming to America in the mid 1870s at around the age of twenty. Near very good. Head of spine very slightly frayed. Slightly dull covers.
