USNR Jan. 3rd 1947 on front end paper, there are also 2 Finn Ronne stamps on the half title and title page. xvi, 556 pages, illustrated with b/w photos, diagrams section entitled "The Army Teaches Snowhouse Building" and "Building a Snow Camp". Original covers, no dust jacket. Shelf wear, covers faded, spine hinge split on title page, text block still sound. Other than Finn Ronne details contents clean.
