We ran an antiquarian and second hand bookshop in Ambleside, Cumbria, also selling on Abe books and now are returning to internet only selling. Based in a large, stylish, art nouveau house in the traditional English seaside resort of Blackpool, we welcome callers by appointment to view the stock, or particular items you are interested in. We accept payment by card via abebooks. We also accept sterling cheques.
Cheques in a convertible currency other than sterling will of necessity incur an �8.00 conversion charge.
Our policy is not to ship prior to payment. We ship within two working days from clearance of payment.

Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1KG. If your book is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
We pack all books carefully and securely, to as far as possible avoid any damage in transit.
