Presented & SIGNED by Cleveland, Ohio based book collector Paul Lemperly to Munson Havens. With Havens' bookplate. Contains a 1p. ALS of Andrew Lang (SIGNED) dated Jan. 22, 1896, regarding getting new books. Number 21 of only 50 copies (none were for sale). Spine slightly browned, minor wear to corners, a few small signs of wear to letter. Both Lemperly & Havens were members of Cleveland's book collector's club (The Rowfant Club). With Munson & Hetty Ganson Havens bookplate; inscription reading: "To Mr. M. A. Havens with regards of Paul Lemperly Nov. 30. 1906." (Inscription over printed address: Jan 22 1896 Lang wants books. 8, Gibson Place, St. Andrews, Scotland. Jan 22) Dear Sir Than I "shall keep it short.
