Black cloth with red cover labels. Oblong quarto. 8-page printed text booklet laid in. Lacking slipcase. Illustrated with 20 full-page black & white lithographs by the author. One of 50 signed copies of the deluxe edition with each print hand-signed by the artist. A pictorial representation of the author's 1948 trip to Greece and the island of Crete. Roloff Beny was a prominent Canadian photographer and artist. He graduated from Trinity College in Toronto where he studied art, archaeology and classical studies. A very good copy with some wear to the spine tips. The plates are all in very good condition with some occasional light foxing in the margin. Foreign postage will be extra on this oversize book.
