First printing of the hardcover in dust jacket, SIGNED AND DATED BY KOONTZ ON THE TITLE PAGE. jacket is somewhat worn about the edges, with a number of small chips and tears at the extremeties and is price clipped, though still largely intact in a jacket cover. pages and binding are clean, straight and tight. there is a 'property of the navy' stamp on the bottom of the page edges and residue from a removed library card pocket on the rear free end paper as well as residue from a removed sticker on the reverse. there are no marks to the text or other serious flaws.
