Irish edition, first printing, 1946. With original unclipped (and unpriced) jacket. Signed and dedicated with a personalized message from the author to the previous owner in black ink directly to front end-paper. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, few tears, patchy loss, patchy browning (including to spine), numerous marks, creasing/rubbing to edges, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, pushing/bumping to corners, few spots of foxing, few small scratches, creasing/rubbing/browning to front/back inner flaps and is in only fair condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners, the odd small crease/scratch, a little patchy browning and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Inside boards/end-papers bit tanned with the odd small mark/minor foxing. Pages little tanned. Odd small mark/spots of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Occasional small mark/spots of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
