First edition, first printing. Signed by the author on the FFEP with the note "With best wishes for your future George Soros" This much loved book shows significant wear and some unique features. On the FFEP, above the autor's signature, is a note in another hand: "Kami's book from: SOROS YAY!" Below the author's signature is the note: Boo yah people hatin!!" On the rear end paper, opposite the photo and biography of Soros on the dust jacket, is the note "I met ha cis son!" The book and DJ show significant shelf wear, and the DJ has some chips, closed tears, and it missing a small corner on the bottom of the back foldover. This book is absolutely not in "coillectable condition" but it is fun! Other signed copies of this title are pricey. Reflecting the condition, this is a bargain. Seller Inventory # 001642
In this powerful essay Soros spells out his views and how they differ from the president's. He reflects on why the Democrats may have lost the high ground on these values issues and how they might reclaim it. As he has in his recent books, On Globalization and The Bubble of American Supremacy , Soros uses facts, anecdotes, personal experience and philosophy to illuminate a major topic in a way that both enlightens and inspires.
