Perched on the mezzanine of an ex Victorian railway shed, inside an award winning garden centre, you will find a most unusual London establishment combining an ethical, slow food restaurant, a new and antiquarian bookstore as well as a passionately curated arts, antiques and home decor collection. Combined, this is Pritchard and Ure, a hidden gem that we established eleven years ago. We hope some of you can pay us a visit to experience, in person, this special place we have created. On our Abebooks site we list books that we have moved from our in house shop so they are often almost new. We also sell some other books we come across now and again that are pre loved.

All our books and other items are described as accurately as we can. Other than particulary old and or vintage books all our books are in good condition with usual wear and tear. Some are in an almost new condition. Some books due to their use at times academically or for research may have notes, highlighting and similar notations which we feel adds to the character of the book. We will however indicate this where appropriate and should you be unhappy with any item you receive please let us know...

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. All parcels are sent using Standard Delivery services. UK orders are sent by Royal Mail Second Class which usually takes 3-6 working days.
International orders usually take 12-15 working days, but can take up to 45 days due to customs and borders controls.
Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
