Hardback copy in half velum boards with cream cloth, dark green lettering to spine, no dustjacket as issued. 97pp. B/w photographic frontispiece, full page b/w photographs throughout. Untrimmed page edges. End note states 'The edition consists of one thousand copies. Each is numbered and will be signed by the Author on request'. Signed and numbered by author in ink to bottom of half title page 'Richard St Barbe Baker, No 46'. Also includes a 3 page letter written in green ink by Baker dated 1942. Plus related newspaper cuttings. Not library copy. (10/4).
