, [8], 72 pages, [2], 32 pages. Signed on the title page, "William Hey Esq with Mr Teale's kind regards". The dedication is probably to a relative of Samuel Hey who is listed as a surgeon in the book and may be related to William Hey of Leeds (1736-1819) who gave his name to the Hey amputation. Illustrated by 16 engravings on wood by Mr Bagg. 30 page classified index of Mr Churchill's catalogue to rear. First Edition ,wear to edges of spine, small portion of cloth missing from top and bottom of spine, corners bumped and worn, front and rear hinge cracked, library stamp to front free endpaper, some pencil annotations to reverse of front free endpaper and throughout, pages clean, just good condition, , blue cloth with blindstamped pattern to front and rear and gilt title to spine, bound by Edmonds & Remnants, London , octavo, 23 cm x 15 cm Hardback SIGNED by the author ISBN.
