A very nice first printing of the first American edition [Random House NY (1955)], signed by author Leon Uris directly on the title page. The book is in very good condition with no remainder marks, a tight and square binding, with no owner inscriptions or highlighting but with a mottled top stain and a previous owner's bookplate on the front pastedown. The dust jacket is in good condition, not price-clipped ($3.00), but with chips at the spine ends and at the corners, as well as creases, spots and short tears. It is now protected by an archival cover which is easily removable. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
