Colour and B&W plates and B&W illustrations in text from drawings (including maps) very good Signed on title page by C. Stuart Houston, inscription on title page for Bob Finch from I. S. MacLaren. Back's account of Franklin's first overland expedition 1819-1822 based on his journals, sketches and watercolours. Subscribers edition with letter loosely inserted.
