Sydney, [The Author], 1950. Quarto, [iv], 283 pages with numerous illustrations plus 61 tipped-in bookplates (22 in colour). Quarter parchment and papered boards a little bumped on the corners; pastedowns slightly marked; relevant cutting from a bookseller's catalogue tipped in on the blank verso of the colophon (which has an additional Eric Thake-designed Barnett bookplate tipped in on it); an excellent copy with the near-fine pictorial dustwrapper (lightly rubbed and bumped). Number 76 of the standard issue of 200 copies signed by the author; a further 100 copies in two deluxe editions were also published. Seller Inventory # 25193
