The first signed edition of 'Authors by Profession' by Victor Bonham-Carter. A very scarce signed, first edition of Victor Bonham-Carter's study into how authors and dramatists have practised their professions. Volume one of two. Contains ink inscription by the author, dated 1978. In cloth binding with gilt detailing and original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally very smart. Some very minor wear to the extremities. The dustwrapper has some wear and chipping to the extremities and a small closed tear to backstrip. Internally, the book is firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean throughout. Fine.
