An attractive copy of this early title by the best-selling Welsh novelist. The second Piers Roper story, following The Shakeout. A VG copy indeed, pushed at the spine tips, corners lightly bumped. Slightly cracked at the title and first couple of gatherings but tight and reasonably square. The dustjacket is also in VG shape - Near Fine, in fact with just minor tanning to flaps and a tiny scrape to the laminate near the gutter at the front cover.
