Collects ten stories with introduction by Lester del Rey and afterword by Moore. "Ten memorable stories from the 1930s and 1940s. The earlier pieces, such as 'Shambleau,' tend to be fantastic romances in a sword-and-sorcery vein. The later items, notably 'No Woman Born' and 'Vintage Season,' are classic SF of a slightly harder-edged type.
